General Laborer
Pay Rate - $22/hr.
Job Description
Maintain a clean, safe, debris-free environment on transfer decks, mezzanines, and automation zones, including conveyors, lifts, shuttles, palletizing cells, and scanners/sensors. This role supports uptime and safety by removing debris, cleaning floors and equipment per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and working closely with maintenance and operations to schedule cleaning during automation downtime.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and safety in various automation zones.
Remove debris and clean floors and equipment according to SOPs.
Collaborate with maintenance and operations to schedule cleaning during downtime.
Utilize industrial cleaning tools such as scrubbers and vacuums.
Ensure clear communication and hazard reporting.
Work safely during automation downtime, demonstrating mechanical aptitude.
Essential Skills
Experience in general labor and industrial cleaning.
Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out Procedures.
Ability to clean around and under machinery and automation.
Capability to follow sanitation SOPs and site standards.
Proficiency with industrial cleaning tools like scrubbers and vacuums.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work 50% of the time in confined spaces to check automation tracking tape.
Experience with electric pallet jacks and construction hand tools.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
