Federal Workforce Data Analyst

Job Description

Summary

FYI is seeking a Statistician, Research Analyst, or Data Analyst to provide workforce analytics and statistical analysis to support the United States Secret Service (USSS). The candidate must possess 6-10 years of experience to perform the assigned duties as outlined below.

Essential skills required:

Expert in Data Visualization techniques for workforce data

Advanced knowledge in MS Excel

Advanced knowledge in MS Power BI

Strong knowledge of MS SharePoint

Strong project management skills

Fluid understanding of workforce planning to include full-time equivalent (FTE) and calculating an effective work year (EWY)

Basic knowledge of workforce modeling using the bottom-up approach, i.e., understanding the measurement of processes/tasks using frequency and duration to determine FTE consumption

Statistical Analysis System (SAS) experience preferred, but not required

Must be capable of working independently to meet timelines
