SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled WMS SuperUser to serve as the on-site functional expert for our Warehouse Management System. In this role, you will support daily operations, troubleshoot system issues, execute configuration updates, and help ensure that the distribution center fully leverages WMS capabilities to drive productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.
This position is ideal for someone who understands warehouse processes, has hands-on experience with enterprise WMS platforms, and enjoys solving problems at the intersection of operations and technology.
Key Responsibilities
WMS Functional Expertise & Daily Support
Serve as the primary WMS subject matter expert for system usage, workflows, and best practices.
Provide first-line troubleshooting for WMS issues, validate defects, and escalate tickets to IT or COE teams.
Support operations in maximizing effectiveness of WMS modules (receiving, picking, replenishment, inventory control, tasking).
Manage user access, security roles, and related governance.
Configuration & System Enhancements
Perform basic WMS configuration changes within established design templates.
Maintain operational alignment with WMS governance, SOPs, and configuration standards.
Support onboarding of new client configurations and small-scale WMS deployments.
Identify and recommend WMS-enabled process improvements (slotting, task optimization, workflow efficiency).
Support operational readiness for enhancements, upgrades, and go-live stabilization.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Prepare and execute SIT, UAT, and regression test scripts for system changes and enhancements.
Document testing outcomes and collaborate with IT, COE, and operations teams to validate fixes or updates.
Training & Documentation
Deliver WMS training to operations leaders and administrative users.
Maintain SOPs, knowledge documents, and process guides related to WMS functionality.
Act as a go-to resource for system-related best practices.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience with an enterprise WMS (Manhattan SCALE, Blue Yonder, Körber/HighJump, SAP EWM, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting and issue-resolution capability in a WMS environment.
Solid understanding of warehouse operations and associated workflows.
Proficiency with Excel; experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Cognos) is an asset.
Experience writing and executing test scripts and documenting system results.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to support and influence cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume operation
