Overview
An MEP Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within construction projects. They ensure systems are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of MEP projects from design through construction and commissioning
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
Review and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and contracts
Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met
Identify and resolve technical and construction issues
Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and quality requirements
Conduct site inspections and progress meetings
Manage procurement of materials and equipment
Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover processes
