Janitor/Facility Maintenance Worker

QA Maintenance is currently hiring for several positions, including multiple shifts. We are a janitorial/facility maintenance company looking to fill openings for the day shift, mid shift, and night shift. We service large scale buildings such as warehouses, factories, car dealerships, offices and more. We offer competitive pay with opportunity for advancement. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)

Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities

Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects

Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs

Make adjustments and minor repairs

Stock and maintain supply rooms

Cooperate with the rest of the staff

Follow all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

Proven working experience as a Janitor (at least 6 months)

Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets

Integrity and ability to work independently

High school degree

Required qualifications:

18 years or older

Legally authorized to work in the United States

Reliable transportation to and from work

Background check

At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher

Able to work in an environment with low temperatures

Able to stand for duration of shift

Preferred qualifications:

6+ months of experience in the cleaning & maintenance services industry

Able to comfortably lift 50 lbs
