Position Overview

PRN / Per Diem / Part-Time

Pay Rate: $42.00 per hour

Shift Options: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Location: Harrisonburg, VA

Flexible scheduling based on your availability

12-Week Contract (Full-Time)

Pay Rate: $45.00 per hour

Shift Options: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Weekends: including weekends

Location: Harrisonburg, VA

Key Responsibilities

As an LPN with Oculus Health, you will:

Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with facility policies and physician orders

Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and report changes promptly

Assist with care planning and collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams

Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility standards

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Your clinical expertise, attention to detail, and patient-centered approach will directly impact the quality of care provided.

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Virginia

Graduate of an accredited LPN program

Current CPR/BLS certification

Minimum of one (1) year of long-term care experience required

Strong clinical skills and professional communication

Social Security Card

Active Virginia LPN license

Two professional references (letters or contact information)

Current BLS/CPR certification

PPD or QuantiFERON test results
