Job Details
The FP&A Manager leads financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision support across the organization. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, and Executive leadership to optimize performance and resource allocation.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining performance reporting, delivering data-driven insights to senior leadership, and enhancing financial processes and reporting capabilities. This position is ideal for a highly analytical professional who enjoys solving complex problems, building structure, and influencing decision-making in a collaborative and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning cycles
Develop and maintain driver-based financial models and scenario analyses
Analyze monthly results, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights and variance commentary
Partner with Sales and Operations to align financial goals with business objectives and capacity planning
Build predictive models to support accurate forecasting of future performance
Create reports and dashboards highlighting key performance metrics and trends
Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages and KPIs for leadership
Utilize CRM data for revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, cohort performance, and conversion tracking
Drive process improvements and implement FP&A best practices and governance
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA preferred
5–8 years of FP&A experience, ideally within B2B professional services
Strong background in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
Prior experience in public accounting or similar environments is a plus
Proficiency with CRM systems for revenue and pipeline analysis required
Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI/ERP tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, NetSuite) preferred
Strong analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Core Competencies & KPIs
Forecast accuracy, budget-to-actual variance, revenue conversion metrics, gross margin by service line, operating expense leverage, cash flow efficiency, and project profitability
Tools & Systems
