Position: Jamb Cell Operator
Shift: 1st shift, M-F 7am-3:30pm, 3rd shift, S-Th 11:00pm-7:30am
Pay: $17.50 per hour plus shift differential for 3rd shift
Location: Onsite, Anchor Fabrication, Denton, TX
Anchor Fabrication, LLC, a precision metal fabrication company, is seeking a 1st and 3rd shift Jamb Cell Operator.
The operator is responsible for performing all functions of sawing, bending, welding, and milling metal pieces while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. The operator is responsible for setting up the job, which includes reviewing the job packet, setting angles and stops, exchanging dies, and adjusting tension in order to operate the saw, bending, welding, and mill machines, followed by inspecting for conformance to specification. The operator must troubleshoot and make adjustments when necessary or seek consultation from a supervisor and/or quality control.

Mechanically adept
Attention to detail
Able to prioritize and work under schedule demands
Good communication skills
Computer literate
Able to read all precision measuring instruments
Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings, sheet metal drawings, customer drawings, diagrams, weld symbols and other instructional materials proficiently
Positive, willingness to learn and participate in a changing environment to reach a common goal
Knowledge of shop practices and operations
Understand Metal hardness factors (First in First out Material rotation)
Must be flexible to work in other areas
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent preferred along with; prior manufacturing experience
Working in a metal forming environment
