Raws Receiving Operator (3rd Shift)

Mars Petcare- Raws Receiving Operator- Columbus, OH

Pay: $22.20/hour and $1.50/hour shift premium Shift Schedule:

Shift: 3rd (nights)

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 11:00 pm-7:30 am

Description of Role:

Review the freezer dock production schedule and recipe database to identify the frozen meat commodities needed for production. Coordinate the arrival of freezer trailers, ensuring the integrity and quality of the commodities. Scan and deliver pallets to their designated locations.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma

2 + years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting

Proficiency in software systems including MS Office and e-mail

Submit an OAP form (internal Mars associates only) Physical Requirements:

Perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)

Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.

Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.

Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours

Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions

Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English. Preferred Qualifications:

Technical degree or certification(s)

Forklift certified

Familiar with JDA/BlueYonder or similar inventory tracking programs. What will be your Key Responsibilities?

Working ahead of schedule to ensure production goals are met in the freezer dock

Safely and efficiently operate a forklift.

Follow escalation protocol for any deviation in product integrity or quality

Work with members of other departments to maintain stock.

Time management in alignment with production.

Pat Range: Based on experience starting at $22.20/hour+

Shift Differential: $1.50/hour
