Title: Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

Location: Columbus, OH area

Pay: $110,000 - $130,000 - 10% Bonus - Relocation Assistance

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm with some flexibility

Job Description:

This position will help optimize equipment reliability and minimizes downtime by planning, scheduling, and coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance tasks. They manage work orders, identify necessary resources (parts, tools, labor), and utilize CMMS to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed, high-quality work packages for maintenance tasks, including scoping, sequencing, and identifying required resources, tools, and safety requirements.

Use software to track work orders, analyze equipment history, and schedule maintenance tasks.

Conduct site inspections to evaluate, define, and prepare maintenance work requests.

Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to schedule work in a way that minimizes disruptions to power production.

Identify potential problems before they arise and develop contingency plans for critical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and engineering standards.

Procure necessary parts, materials, and external services for jobs, managing inventory for maintenance activities. Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years in industrial maintenance, maintenance planning, or reliability engineering in power generation or a heavy industrial environment.

Proficiency with CMMS software (such as SAP, Maximo).

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or an associate degree is highly preferred.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to act as a liaison between maintenance, operations, and contractors.

In-depth knowledge of safety procedures (e.g., LOTO) and regulatory standards
