The Position

We are currently seeking a Gas Supply Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position will

support the Company’s procurement and optimization of natural gas supply for its customers

and provide key market information to our natural gas traders. This full-time, permanent position is based in Calgary, Alberta.

Position Responsibilities

• Utilize an Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system to capture and balance

all trading activity with corresponding pipelines and counterparties.

• Perform daily balancing and scheduling of natural gas transmission and distribution

pipelines.

• Support natural gas traders through forecasting daily supply needs

• Provide natural gas traders and Management with fundamental information on the

Alberta and North American natural gas market.

• Participate in off-hour, weekend, and holiday on-call rotation.

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, pipeline operators, and suppliers.

• Assist with ad hoc requests and responsibilities that arise in response to a dynamic and

evolving operational environment.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Undergraduate degree from an accredited University.

• Superior problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail

• Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Exhibits a strong willingness to independently learn and interpret market information in

support of informed decision making.

• Proficient with Microsoft 365, and an ability to quickly learn new software.
