Job Title: Project Engineer Job Description The Project Engineer - Infrastructure plays a crucial role in executing project engineering tasks that support the infrastructure function within the business.

Responsibilities * Coordinate engineering input to support schedule development.

* Collaborate with department managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment, effective planning, and execution.

* Work closely with the engineering department and project managers to ensure adherence to schedules, including activities required to support procurement.

* Monitor and coordinate schedule updates and submittals.

* Liaise with internal and external clients and managers to determine design codes and establish overall design criteria for projects.

* Ensure all work complies with approved manuals and procedures.

* Maintain engineering scope and project intent, including interpreting scope, identifying budget deviations, assessing potential change orders, and coordinating cost and schedule impacts with managers.

* Implement approved project changes and communicate associated schedule impacts to managers.

* Verify adherence to project quality processes.

* Conduct recurring design coordination meetings with project teams to ensure cross-departmental collaboration.

* Coordinate with Project Management and Procurement to establish proper document distribution for internal and external stakeholders.

* Manage engineering field support and communication through the RFI system.

* Review and provide engineering input for weekly and monthly project status reports, including costs and potential changes.

* Participate in project review meetings.

* Perform other responsibilities as required or assigned.

* Demonstrated experience following quality assurance and control procedures * Ability to analyze problems, make technical decisions, and implement adequate solutions.

Work Environment Work is conducted in an open office environment.

The position requires availability Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM.

Approximately 20% of the role involves job site visits and client meetings.

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69/hr.
