Rivier University's Division of Business and Security Studies seeks a qualified, credentialed candidate for Business Instructor -Adjunct Faculty. Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Business programs, the Adjunct Instructor is responsible for providing business related (e.g., accounting, business

management, finance, marketing, project management, and sport management) courses on-campus, face-to-face daytime instruction, twice a week, at the undergraduate level.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will join the Business and Security Studies faculty in the education of Business students, with the following primary responsibilities:

• Assume teaching, advisement, and mentoring responsibilities for students in the traditional face-to-face, in-residence, daytime, twice a week, teaching and learning model;

• Undergraduate two daytime class meetings per week;

• Participate in ongoing program growth and development, particularly with respect to the

integration of technology throughout all program experiences; and

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, both in the d ivision and throughout the University.

Qualifications

• Master's degree is required, a terminal degree in Business related or highly related field is

preferred. These fields may include Accounting, Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Project Management, and Sport Management;

• The successful candidate will have college-level teaching, academic program, and curriculum development experience; and

• The ability and willingness to support the mission of the University and to work collaboratively and collegially with departmental and institutional colleagues.
