Associate Manufacturing Process Technician

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Process Technician with a Biotechnology company. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity with our client located in New Albany, OH. This is a fully onsite position.

Summary:

This is an entry-level role ideal for a candidate with a strong work ethic and a flexible schedule. The position involves performing processes according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), specifically the inspection and packaging of product-filled vials. No prior manufacturing experience is required.

Responsibilities:

Routinely perform moderately-complex to complex processes according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

Perform inspection and packaging of product-filled vials per procedures and batch records

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment

Set up and operate equipment

Assist or participate in other manufacturing operations, such as filling support activities

Support internal operations like stocking items, tracking inventory, and material movement

Recognize and report malfunctions and make necessary adjustments to equipment

Understand, follow, and document batch records for the inspection and packaging process

Reconcile components and products

Load components into machines Requirements:

High school/GED and 1 year of work or military experience, or an Associate degree

Ability to follow written and verbal directions

Able to stand for extended periods of time (up to 12-hour shift)

Able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs and regularly lift 5-25 pounds

Understanding of measurements, calculations, and the metric system Desired skills:

GMP Experience

Prior manufacturing experience

Filling and finishing manufacturing experience, preferably vial inspection Pay range: Up to $20.28 per Hour
