Work Location: Mythic is headquartered in Charlotte, NC; this role is currently scoped as in-office or hybrid.

Mythic employees are expected to work from 9:00am-5:30pm, but may also require evenings and weekends as client needs dictate. Must be authorized to work in the US without corporate assistance. Must be located in the US.

Job Summary:

Mythic is searching for a results oriented, visually driven Designer. Whether its brand identity, brand campaigns or banner ads - if it needs to make a statement, you're going to make it. And you'll do that working with a team of creative directors, art directors, designers, and production artists dedicated to craft and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Come up with fresh ideas and concepts that are on strategy, not relying on a bag of tricks

Design in print, digital and video formats for branding, advertising, CRM and web/mobile experiences

Understand a client's brand, business, consumers and competition to inform insightful design ideas

Actively participate in brainstorms and other idea-generating sessions

Work with other designers, art directors and copywriters on branding initiatives and advertising campaigns

Build functional, user-centric digital environments and lead-generation assets for both web and CRM

Design monthly social posts for a diverse range of clients, industries, and audiences

Use feedback/direction from creative lead to generate multiple design explorations and iterate designs

Own small to mid-size projects and join in client presentations of every size

Consistently carry a brand's look and feel through all media

Ensure brand guidelines and production specs are taken into consideration for flawless execution

Communicate and collaborate across departments - great ideas are everywhere

Self-start, maintain efficient workflow, and shift gears nimbly to hit required deadlines

Strong design portfolio and outside artistic endeavors

Experience in digital, social, CRM, video, print, OOH, POS, and large format installations

Firm understanding of design principles, industry trends and brand strategy

An eye for detail

A drive for innovation

Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma

Experience in UX/UI and using AI tools for image generation a plus

3+ years of demonstrated experience in an agency or design firm environment

Bachelor's or related degree from accredited design school or portfolio school is preferred
