Compensation Range: $120,000-$140,000 base bonus/profit sharing
Job Description:
The client is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead brand storytelling and content strategy for a growing data center development firm. This role will partner closely with executive leadership to translate complex infrastructure concepts into clear, compelling narratives across PR, events, and digital channels. This is a highly visible, hands-on role focused on shaping brand voice, executing content, and elevating how the company shows up externally.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Partner directly with executive leadership to capture vision and translate it into clear, compelling brand messaging
Develop and execute content strategy across channels including LinkedIn, press releases, thought leadership, and event communications
Own content creation end-to-end, including writing, editing, and publishing across digital and print platforms
Support and market industry events, conferences, and announcements through cohesive messaging and collateral
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (PR firms, agencies, designers) to execute campaigns and initiatives
Maintain and manage an editorial calendar to ensure consistency in voice, tone, and messaging
Translate complex infrastructure and data center concepts into accessible, engaging content for a B2B audience
Monitor brand presence and optimize messaging based on performance, audience engagement, and market insights Requirements: Must-Haves:
3-6 years of experience in B2B marketing, communications, or brand storytelling
Strong writing and editing skills with experience creating thought leadership, PR, or executive-level content
Proven ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling messaging
Experience developing and executing content across multiple channels (PR, events, social, digital)
Experience working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners/agencies
Comfort working directly with senior leadership to shape messaging and brand voice
Experience in B2B environments such as infrastructure, real estate, energy, industrial, or related fields
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with strong ownership and execution Nice-to-Haves:
Experience in data center, digital infrastructure, or real estate development industries
Background working in agency environments or across multiple brand portfolios
Experience supporting executive communications, ghostwriting, or founder-led brands
Familiarity with AI tools for content creation and optimization
Existing relationships with media, PR, or industry networks in the DC area
