Warehouse Associate
Job Type: Full-time direct hire with generous benefits
Monday - Friday, First Shift (8AM-5:00PM)
Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for day to day warehouse operations including loading, unloading, staging, picking, and packing inventory. This role requires safe operation of warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers and forklifts and the flexibility to be cross trained across multiple warehouse and delivery functions as business needs require.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products using cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
Process inbound shipments and warehouse deliveries, including verification of bills of lading and chain of custody documentation
Accurately select and pick orders using pick tickets and labels
Participate in physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and related data entry
Operate warehouse equipment in accordance with safety standards and company procedures
Use basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills to complete daily tasks
Maintain general warehouse housekeeping including floor cleaning, waste removal, cardboard processing, and equipment organization
Follow work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete assigned tasks
Push, pull, reach, bend, and lift up to 100 pounds as required
Stand, walk, and perform physical work for extended periods
Qualifications
One to two years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment preferred
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Additional Responsibilities and Flexibility
Cross training is encouraged, including potential training as a delivery driver for employees with a valid driver’s license
Warehouse associates who maintain a valid driver’s license, good standing motor vehicle record, and Medical DOT card may have opportunities to perform both warehouse and delivery duties
Delivery Driver Responsibilities for Qualified Employees
Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly with in cab camera monitoring
Load and unload vehicles according to safety standards
Verify manifests and delivery paperwork
Deliver products to customer locations, confirm orders, unload materials, obtain signatures, and collect payments when required
Document returned parts and issue receipts
Accurately collect and process accounts receivable as needed
Provide professional and courteous customer service during all interactions
Physical Demands
Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and sitting
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment
Warehouse environment with moderate noise levels
When performing delivery duties, exposure to varying weather conditions including rain, snow, and temperature changes
