Currently we are hiring a Commissioning Manager to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Commissioning Plans – Create and oversee the execution of commissioning strategies, schedules, and procedures to ensure systems meet performance and reliability standards.
Manage Commissioning Teams – Supervise commissioning engineers, technicians, and third-party vendors, ensuring efficient collaboration and adherence to project timelines.
Coordinate MEP Systems Testing – Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and critical power system commissioning, including UPS, generators, cooling systems, and fire/life safety systems.
Ensure Compliance with Industry Standards – Verify that all commissioned systems meet applicable industry and client standards.
Conduct Site Inspections & Performance Testing – Perform functional and integrated system testing (IST), reviewing results to confirm proper operation and resolving deficiencies.
Manage Commissioning Documentation – Prepare and maintain commissioning reports, test scripts, issue logs, punch lists, and system acceptance documentation for project closeout.
Collaborate with Construction & Design Teams – Work closely with general contractors, design engineers, and project managers to address and resolve commissioning-related issues.
Lead FAT & SAT Testing – Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for critical equipment, ensuring specifications are met before installation and operation.
Support Risk Management & Troubleshooting – Identify potential commissioning risks, troubleshoot issues in real-time, and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays.
Handover & Client Training – Facilitate the transition of systems to operations teams, conducting O&M training and ensuring all stakeholders understand system functionality and maintenance procedures.
Authority:
You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
Requirements:
Experience in Data Center Commissioning – Minimum 5+ years of experience managing commissioning activities for mission-critical facilities, including MEP and low-voltage systems.
Technical Expertise in MEP & Critical Systems – In-depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, UPS, generators, fire suppression, BMS, and SCADA systems in a data center environment.
Familiarity with Industry Standards & Best Practices
Strong Project Management & Leadership Skills – Ability to lead commissioning teams, coordinate with stakeholders, manage schedules, and ensure timely project completion.
Testing & Documentation Proficiency – Experience in performing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), Integrated System Testing (IST), and load bank testing, with a strong focus on documentation.
Excellent Communication & Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to effectively communicate with construction teams, vendors, clients, and operations staff, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions in high-pressure environments.
