We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Intern to support our HR department. Responsibilities include managing employee records, filing documents, conducting background checks, drafting employee communications, and recommending HR policy improvements. The successful candidate will stay updated on labor legislation to ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Update employee information in company databases.
* Screen resumes and applications.
* Organize and schedule interviews.
* Post and remove job advertisements.
* Assist with market salary research and company event planning.
* Prepare offer and rejection letters.
* Coordinate new hire orientations.
* Respond to staff inquiries regarding HR policies and benefits.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, or currently pursuing.
* Office experience.
* Knowledge of Nigerian labor laws.
* Familiarity with HRIS software (advantageous).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Team-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
* Detail-oriented.
