Peters Hospital proudly serves the health care needs of families in St.

Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties.

The 102-bed community hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St.

Peters Hospital, the Breast Health and Women’s Center, the Cardiology Center, the Neurosurgery Center and the Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center.

Peters Hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center and carries a Level II stroke certification.

Additionally, the hospital’s medical office building houses offices for specialists in primary care, cardiology, obstetrics, dermatology, surgery and pulmonology.

Both inpatient and outpatient surgical units perform a variety of complex procedures including: Orthopedic, Breast Surgery, Brachytherapy, Gynecology and Urogynecology, Laparoscopy, Single Port Laparoscopic Procedure, Ear, Nose and Throat, Urology, Oral Maxillofacial, Ophthalmology, Vascular, Plastic Surgery, General Surgery, Gastrointestinal, Colorectal Surgery, THD (Transanal Hemorrhoidal Dearterialization), Thoracic, & Podiatry Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Creates and implement staff education and professional development activities and programs that optimize patient outcomes.

ResponsibilitiesAssesses, plans, implements, and evaluates ongoing educational and professional development activities and programs for clinical and non-clinical areas.Collaborates with staff and representatives of other organizations to develop, present and or evaluate clinically focused training, continuing education and or professional development opportunities.Participates in activities that promote safety, quality and regulatory compliance.Collaborates with leadership to assess the educational needs of the staff and develops appropriate education plan.Participates in professional development and life long learning.
