Job Details

The employees in this position are responsible for:

Supporting a PLC controlled 120 wide tandem flexible PVC extrusion coating line

The operation will include set up, operation, breakdown and cleaning of all components, and the development of proper processing parameters during operation to optimize line speeds and yields

Safe operation of forklifts to transport materials to workstations.

Ensure proper quality review of the product on workstations assigned.

Follow all company policies, including environmental policy and notify supervisor of any concern that may affect work area or company property.

Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Prior experience with plastics, vinyl coating, lamination, or printing production highly desirable

Prior forklift certification and experience.

Ability to read and write English

Good verbal communications skills

Understanding of how to use a touchscreen (PLC) production line

Ability to learn and understand technology associated with plastics processing

Physical Requirements

Adequate vision

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures

Stoop, kneel, crawl, climb Stand and walk for the majority of an 12 and 8 hour shifts

Ability to climb stairs

Ability and willingness to work overtime if required

Availability and willingness to cover any shift with prior notification

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

Mon, Tues, Wed, and every other Thursday from 6pm-6am (20% shift differential, must be able to train on days)
