Surgery - General Physician

We are seeking a Board-CertifiedGeneral Surgery Physician for a long-term locum tenens opportunity in Pendleton,Oregon. This position offers a structured block schedule with a mix of clinic,call, and surgical responsibilities in a supportive hospital setting.

Position Details

Schedule:

Monday - Friday clinic hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

24-hour call coverage required

Assignment Length: 7-10 day block schedule for approximately one year

Coverage Includes:

Scheduled outpatient clinic visits

Post-operative care

Inpatient and emergency consults

Scheduled and emergency surgical procedures

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive general surgery care in clinic and hospital settings

Perform a full range of general surgical procedures

Manage post-operative patients and follow-up care

Respond to emergency surgical cases while on call

Collaborate with hospital staff and ancillary services to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements

Board Certified in General Surgery

Active Oregon medical license

ACLS and BLS certifications

Active DEA
