Responsibilities

- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses in a corrections health setting

- Perform focused nursing assessments and document findings in patient records

- Triage and manage urgent health concerns, including wound care and infection control

- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary corrections health team and communicate with supervising physicians

- Adhere to security procedures, policies, and patient safety standards during all interactions

- Complete accurate documentation, med administration records, and incident reports as required

Requirements

- Active LPN license in Vermont or eligibility for Vermont licensure

- Ability to work night shift and meet the demands of a corrections environment

- Capacity to obtain necessary clearances and pass standard background checks

- Eligibility to work in the United States

- Willingness to travel for the temporary assignment and adhere to facility protocols
