Job Description

Were seeking an Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team and support a busy, high-quality coverage practice. Youll work on first-party coverage disputes and related matters, including declaratory judgment actions and coverage analysis, with opportunities to take meaningful ownership while working closely with experienced attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

Handle insurance coverage litigation matters in Georgia state and federal courts

Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and discovery

Conduct and defend depositions; support witness preparation

Participate in mediations and support settlement strategy/negotiations

Perform legal research and provide strategic legal analysis

Assist with coverage opinions and declaratory judgment actions

Manage multiple active files, deadlines, and client communications in a fast-paced environment

Collaborate closely with partners and senior attorneys while taking ownership of assigned matters

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school

Must be admitted to the Georgia Bar and in good standing

2+ years of attorney experience strongly preferred

Some insurance coverage experience (coverage analysis, coverage disputes, DJ actions, coverage opinions, bad faith exposure, or related work)

Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills

Excellent organization, judgment, and ability to manage deadlines independently
