Dick Van Dyke Inc. is seeking a motivated and customerfocused Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be the face of our companyworking directly with customers, learning our products and services, and helping deliver an exceptional instore experience. We provide training on all products, services, and company policies to set you up for success.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fastpaced retail environment, and takes pride in maintaining a professional, welcoming store environment.
Sales Representative Compensation
Dick Van Dyke Inc. allows the Sales Associate to choose between two methods of pay while starting out.
Base Salary: $32,000 for the first 12 months of employment + 7% commission((OR))
Straight 14% commission + training pay of $5400.00 over a span of 12 weeks
Sales Representative Key Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service
Answer customer questions and engage them with merchandise
Guide customers to appropriate products and services within the store
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Actively seek out and assist customers on the sales floor
Maintain strong product knowledge and stay informed on new offerings
Contribute to departmental sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
Handle customer concerns professionally and partner with the customer service team to resolve issues
Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing store floor, including displays and merchandiseSales Representative Qualifications
Proven success in sales or customerfacing roles
Professional appearance and demeanor
Personable, friendly, and customerfocused attitude
Ability to work in a fastpaced retail environment
Understanding of basic sales principles
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
