Office Engineer – Transportation Construction
Location: Rocky Hill, CT Full-Time On-Site
Salary Range: $110,000 – $150,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Garg Consulting Services, Inc. (Garg) is a leading multidisciplinary engineering and construction management firm specializing in transportation infrastructure, roadway design, and DOT projects throughout the Northeast. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Office Engineer to support major transportation construction projects in Connecticut.
Position Overview
The Office Engineer will provide project documentation, reporting, and coordination support for transportation construction projects in Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities
Manage construction documentation: RFIs, RFCs, submittals, drawings, contracts, and correspondence
Track and distribute technical documents using AASHTOWare and COMPASS
Prepare daily and weekly reports, meeting minutes, and change order logs
Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, contractors, and clients
Support pay estimates and schedule updates in accordance with CTDOT procedures
Maintain audit-ready project files
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management OR NICET Level II/III in Highway or Transportation Inspection
Minimum 6 years' experience in construction office engineering or infrastructure documentation with field inspection experience
CTDOT project experience preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Valid driver's license
