Robert Half is partnered with a globally respected corporation with headquarters in Columbus. The corporation is seeking an experienced compliance specialist. The ideal candidate would have 3+ years' experience supporting compliance and risk initiatives, prior experience supporting legal counsel or a legal department preferred!
Key Responsibilities
Lead support for risk management and insurance functions, including managing insurance relationships, coordinating with brokers and carriers, and overseeing policy renewals
Prepare and manage all stages of disputes and litigation, including claims notification, legal research, document management, and matter tracking
Coordinate insurance coverage and claims activity, including preparing claim submissions and maintaining comprehensive claims tracking systems
Partner with internal stakeholders and outside counsel to ensure timely communication, efficient case management, and adherence to deadlines
Support litigation processes, including discovery coordination, vendor management, and legal spend tracking
Assist with broader compliance and administrative initiatives as needed
Qualifications
3–5+ years of compliance experience, including in-house exposure preferred
Demonstrated experience supporting risk management, insurance programs, and claims administration
Strong understanding of litigation processes, legal research, and court procedures
Experience working with insurance brokers/carriers and managing policy lifecycles highly preferred
Proficiency with legal systems (e.g., Legal Tracker/Serengeti) and Microsoft Office
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
