Construction Field Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a Commercial Construction Field Superintendent to become an integral part of our team! You will coordinate and oversee our commercial projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position is for a seasoned commercial construction supervisor with at least five (5) years in commercial construction.

Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities for commercial projects:

- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality control measures.

- Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets specifications and standards.

- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.

- Prepare and submit progress reports and documentation as required.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of five years of experience in commercial construction field supervision.

- Proven track record of successfully managing commercial construction projects.

- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.

- OSHA certification and knowledge of safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience with large-scale commercial projects.

- Additional certifications such as PMP or LEED accreditation.
