Position Summary
Del’s Appliance Heating & Cooling is seeking a skilled and dependable Appliance Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of residential appliances. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, mechanically inclined, and able to work independently while representing our company with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair household appliances including washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and more
Accurately identify issues and recommend effective solutions
Complete service calls in a timely and efficient manner
Provide excellent customer service and explain repairs to customers clearly
Maintain proper documentation of work performed, parts used, and customer signatures
Ensure company vehicle is stocked, clean, and organized
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Collect payments when necessary and verify accuracy
Qualifications
Previous appliance repair experience preferred (or strong mechanical aptitude)
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
EPA certification
HVAC knowledge or experience
Experience with sealed systems or refrigeration
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Frequent bending, kneeling, and standing
Ability to work in various home environments
