Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Special Needs Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will work closely with students who have a range of learning, mental, emotional, and physical disabilities. They will be responsible for developing individualized education plans (IEPs), implementing adaptive teaching strategies, and creating a supportive learning environment. Must Speak English

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs.

Adapt general education lessons and teach various subjects (math, reading, writing, life skills) to meet students' abilities.

Assess students' progress and revise IEPs accordingly.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.

Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, counselors, and specialists.

Maintain accurate and complete student records, including progress reports and documentation for compliance.

Utilize assistive technology and learning aids as needed.

Attend IEP meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Address behavioral issues through positive behavior support strategies.

Maintain confidentiality and safeguard students' rights at all times.
