About the role
Responsible for performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs as needed.
Responsibilities
Responsible for assuring that appropriate safeguards are in place which have direct impact on the Health and Safety of associates and the environment
Provide minor repairs, modifications and adjustments of production equipment according to prescribed procedures.
Maintain adequate spare parts inventory to ensure that the production lines will run efficiently.
Analyze and report major equipment malfunction and building repairs.
Maintain records on the equipment maintenance repair, modification and changes made on production equipment.
Make recommendations on plans for the improvement of the preventive maintenance.
Coordinate in the installation of the incoming or additional equipment in the facility.
Do other jobs that maybe assigned from time to time.
Essential Skills
High School Diploma or GED required.
Two to four years related experience or equivalent.
Knowledge of electrical, carpentry, painting, and other generally accepted maintenance skills.
Knowledge of city and state building codes, OSHA requirements, and ADA laws.
Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions.
Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.
Forklift experience required.
