Position: Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: San Diego, CA 92127


Responsible for managing project teams that develop and implement IT Infrastructure Components and Systems which support the automation of business applications and processes.

Ensures the delivery of Information Technology Infrastructure projects meeting scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives.

Project Management: Primary project management responsibility, including financial/budget management and control of project costs.

Manage Information Technology Infrastructure projects following standard IT Product Lifecycle project management methodology.

Major project activities managed include concept and business case development, business and system requirements, solution selection, design and implementation of business-driven technology solutions.

Responsible for new technology and new process implementations, including strategy development and implementation.

Capable of managing programs/group of related projects.

Leadership: Provides daily work direction for internal project resources across multiple cross functional groups including contractors and consultants.

Provides coaching and mentoring for project leads and project team.

Works closely with resource managers to set clear expectations and roles for project team members, monitor progress and review/report on results.

Fosters and maintains relationships with clients, colleagues and team.


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, computer science, engineering or management information systems.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

9-15 years project management experience

Understanding of information systems to include middleware, desktop, software, applications, information protection, storage, network, web and emerging technologies.

Strong leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to effectively communicate complex technical matters in business terms.

Experience in managing Office 365 projects is highly desirable.
