Title: CNC Operator
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with potential for 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM for overtime)
Salary: Approximately $24 - $40 per hour, depending on skill level

Our client is a rapidly expanding, privately held manufacturing company in Solon, OH. Due to significant growth and increasing demand for their products, they are seeking dedicated production staff to join their team as direct hires, contributing to their continued success and commitment to quality.
CNC Operator Role:
This role involves setting up, operating, and potentially programming various CNC machines to manufacture finished machined products within tight tolerances, ensuring quality standards are met for different materials.
CNC Operator Responsibilities:
Follow health and safety policies.
Wear required safety equipment that complies with tasks being performed.
Fill out required daily time sheets and work orders.
Use hand tools and manual machines as needed.
Perform machine set-ups as required.
Download and upload programs into CNC machines and make minor programming adjustments as needed.
Make adjustments to offset coordinates to compensate for materials, tooling, or machine center.
Operate many different types of CNC machines (mills, lathes, and chuckers) to manufacture a finished machined product by performing a wide range of machining operations within tight tolerances.
Work with supervisor, programmer, and support staff to resolve machining issues as required.
Inspect own work for correct dimensions and ensure all drawing specifications are met.
Verify dimensions of product for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
Able to read and interpret blueprints.
Clean work area at the end of each day.
CNC Operator Reporting Relationships:
This position reports to the Supervisor or CNC Programmer.
About You:
Possess a High School Diploma, Technical Trade School certification, or GED required.
Have 1 to 10 years minimum experience working in a manufacturing machining environment.
Have 1 to 10 years minimum experience operating CNC milling and CNC lathe equipment.
Have 1+ to 7+ years' experience in a close tolerance manufacturing environment working with different metals, aluminum, and castings.
Committed to maintaining daily work order labor efficiency of 85%.
Able to program parts without the assistance of a CNC programmer or Supervisor.
Able to read blueprints and perform basic math for a 30-minute test during the interview.
