THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Production Floor Manager to lead our manufacturing team. This is a senior role within a compact, elite operation and it carries real authority and real accountability.
You will be responsible for all aspects of daily floor operations:
Overseeing a small team of Production Floor Technicians
Maintaining equipment and process standards, and ensuring that every unit produced meets the demanding specifications our clients require.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Direct and manage all day-to-day production floor operations, including workflow scheduling, throughput monitoring, and output quality control
Operate all production equipment; serve as the primary resource for equipment knowledge on the floor (comprehensive on-the-job training provided)
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate a team of Production Floor Technicians (fewer than 10 personnel); cultivate a culture of precision, accountability, and continuous improvement
Maintain meticulous records of component usage, lot tracking, and production data
Enforce strict adherence to all safety protocols, quality standards, and procedural requirements; address deviations promptly
Coordinate with ownership and senior management on production goals, capacity planning, and operational improvements
Maintain a clean, organized, and operationally secure production environment at all times
Assist with onboarding and training of new production team members
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; associate's degree with substantial supervisory experience considered
Must have manufacturing floor supervisory experience
Experience managing within a precision, technical, or regulated production environment is a significant advantage
Mechanical aptitude with advanced machinery; experience with automated or high-precision production systems a strong plus
Proven ability to manage a small team -- setting expectations, driving performance, and resolving issues professionally
Exceptional organizational and record-keeping skills; meticulous and thorough by nature
High degree of personal integrity, discretion, and professional bearing
Forklift certification preferred (training available)
BACKGROUND REQUIREMENT
All candidates must successfully pass a comprehensive background investigation as a condition of employment. This requirement is non-negotiable. Only individuals with a clean and fully verifiable record will be considered.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the production shift
Ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
Merit-based pay increase evaluations at 90, 180, and 270 days
Health, Dental, and Vision insurance available at 90 days
PTO: 5 days at 6 months; 10 days after 1 year; 15 days after 4 years of employment, plus all federal and state holidays
Relocation assistance may be available for highly qualified candidates
Bi-weekly pay cycle
SCHEDULE
Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 40-50 hours per week
