Role summary:
" Executive leader responsible for multi-site operations, clinical quality enablement, growth, and profitability across the DSO. Owns execution of strategy, standardization, and scalable systems to deliver superior patient experience and clinician satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
" Operations leadership: Drive day-to-day performance across practices; implement standardized workflows, scheduling, chair utilization, inventory, and supply chain management.
" Clinical enablement: Partner with CCO/clinical leaders to support evidence-based care, credentialing, infection control, and safety protocols; ensure alignment of operations with clinical outcomes and compliance.
" Growth and expansion: Lead de novo openings, practice integrations, and market entry; develop ramp plans and playbooks for new sites; optimize real estate and capacity planning.
" Financial management: Own P&L for operations; deliver revenue, EBITDA, and margin targets; manage budgets, labor models, and pricing/payer mix strategies; oversee revenue cycle performance (front desk, eligibility, coding, AR days).
" Patient experience: Improve access, scheduling accuracy, wait times, treatment acceptance, recalls/reactivation, and NPS/CX metrics.
" Talent and culture: Build high-performing regional leadership; workforce planning, recruiting, retention, and training; create a culture of accountability, DEI, and clinician engagement.
" Technology and data: Drive practice management and EHR optimization, analytics dashboards, KPI cadence, and automation (e.g., RCM, patient comms, inventory).
" Compliance and risk: Ensure HIPAA, OSHA, state board, infection control, and payer compliance; manage audits, incident response, and policy governance.
" Vendor and procurement: Centralize purchasing, negotiate contracts, reduce COGS, and manage lab/implant/consumables partners.
" Strategic planning: Translate corporate strategy into operational plans; lead OKRs, quarterly business reviews, and continuous improvement.
" Stakeholder management: Collaborate with marketing, finance, HR, and clinical leadership; communicate performance to CEO, Board, and investors.
Qualifications:
" 3+ years progressive multi-site healthcare operations experience; DSO experience strongly preferred.
" Proven P&L ownership across multi-site dental group.
" Experience integrating acquisitions and opening de novo clinics at scale.
" Deep knowledge of RCM, payer contracting basics, and clinical operations in dentistry (GP and specialties).
" Bachelor's required; MBA/MHA or equivalent preferred.

Reporting structure:
" Reports to: CEO
" Direct reports: Regional/Area Operations Directors, RCM leader, Procurement/Supply Chain, PMO/Integration, Operations Analytics; close partnership with CCO/Clinical leadership and HR.
Location and travel:
" In-office with 20% travel.
