Lead Business Systems Analyst (EDW)

Summary

We are seeking a Lead Business Systems Analyst to support an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). This role partners with business and Agile teams to translate data needs into scalable solutions, enabling the bank to leverage data as a strategic asset. You’ll drive requirements, data mapping, and backlog management across modern EDW technologies including Snowflake, IBM InfoSphere DataStage, Python/PySpark, Infogix, and Tableau.

Location: Hybrid – Columbus, OH, Tupelo, MS, Minneapolis, MN or Dallas, TX. (4 days onsite)

3+ month contract with potential to extend/convert

Key Responsibilities

Act as liaison between business, Product Owner, and Agile team.

Gather and document requirements, including source-to-target data mappings.

Create and refine Epics, Features, and User Stories; manage and groom the backlog.

Facilitate backlog refinement, define acceptance criteria, and support estimation.

Partner with teams to resolve blockers, manage risks, and ensure delivery readiness.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree

7+ years as a BSA in a data warehouse environment

3+ years of SQL for data analysis

Preferred:

Financial services experience

Expertise with Snowflake, AWS S3, and data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin)

Strong data mapping and EDW best practices experience

Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
