Title: Technical Operations Associate

Location: Oceanside, CA / On-site

Type: Hourly, with opportunity to convert to full-time

Compensation: $25–$30/hour, depending on experience

We’re hiring a Technical Operations Associate to help support and scale the infrastructure behind our platform. This is an ideal role for someone who is highly organized, technically curious, and excited to work in a fast-moving startup environment.

You’ll help keep core systems running reliably day to day, support hardware and workstation operations, coordinate procurement and inventory, and own operational tasks that improve uptime, responsiveness, and internal efficiency. We’re open to strong early-career candidates and college grads who have the right attitude, strong ownership, and real interest in IT or technical operations.

What you’ll do

Manage and maintain device, workstation, and related technical infrastructure

Monitor system health, reliability, and uptime

Help track and uphold SLAs and internal operational standards

Coordinate hardware procurement, setup, replacements, and inventory

Troubleshoot issues, escalate when needed, and help keep systems organized

Build and improve operational processes and documentation

Support day-to-day administrative tasks tied to technical operations

Work cross-functionally with the team to keep things running smoothly as we scale

What we’re looking for

High agency and strong sense of ownership

Interest in IT, systems, hardware, or technical operations

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and learning quickly

Excited by startup culture and wearing multiple hats

Able to create structure and process in fast-changing environments

Strong communication and follow-through

College grads are welcome to apply!

Preferred

Experience in IT support, help desk, technical operations, systems, or similar roles

Familiarity with hardware setup, device management, networking basics, or workstation support

Experience with uptime monitoring, inventory tracking, procurement, or vendor coordination

Comfort working in an on-site, hands-on environment

Why this role

This is a chance to join an early team, take real ownership, and grow into a larger operations role over time. For the right person, there is a clear path from hourly contractor to full-time team member.
