Introduction

Join our team as a Cloud and Data Architect, where you will lead architectural decisions for our Cloud and Data Enterprise Portfolios. This role requires a deep understanding of technical architecture and hands-on experience with cloud solutions, focusing on AWS or Azure. You will be instrumental in implementing secure architectures and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and resilient cloud solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

12 years of progressive hands-on experience in application development, analysis, engineering, solution architecture, and technical leadership.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a solution architect working with AWS or Azure.

AWS or Azure Architecture Associate Certification required; AWS Professional Certification preferred.

Strong proficiency with Python or Java.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Architecture principles and the TOGAF framework.

CISSP or equivalent security certification.

Technical experience across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor to business teams, understanding requirements for cloud implementations.

Provide recommendations for cloud migration and develop technical implementation roadmaps for AWS adoption.

Create application architecture, data architecture, and deployment architectures, and other technical deliverables.

Collaborate with Information Security, Compliance, Controls, and other teams to develop secure and compliant cloud solutions.
