Construction Superintendent

Position Overview

Dobco Inc. is looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the construction of a new, state-of-the-art school facility at Dover Air Force Base, valued at $50 million. In this role, you will oversee daily on-site operations, coordinate subcontractors and crews, and ensure the project is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily construction activities on site.

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews to keep the project moving smoothly.

Monitor schedule, budget, and resources to support project goals.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Air Force Base site rules.

Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality and address any issues promptly.

Maintain project documentation, including daily reports and progress updates.

Communicate with Dobco project managers, engineers, and client representatives.

Qualifications:

Experience as a construction superintendent, foreman, or similar role on commercial or institutional projects.

Comfortable reading construction drawings and specifications.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA or similar).
