Facilities Assistants

Team Eagan is hiring Facilities Assistants for Cascade Bay Waterpark!

Summer, 2026

Pay: $22.903 per hour, DOQ

Seasonal, Part-Time, Not Benefit Eligible

Spend your summer at the region's largest outdoor municipal waterpark learning about facility and aquatic maintenance and upkeep (training provided!). If you are looking to gain experience in any of the following professions, this might be great work experience for you:

Maintenance

Facilities Assistants start in May and ends in September (flexible start and end dates). Scheduled shifts are mornings, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays (flexible hours: 25 - 35 hours/week).

Cascade Bay is an outdoor facility, requiring work in all types of weather conditions.

Essential Position Functions

In this job you will:

Monitor pool equipment and pool water chemistry to ensure pH and chlorine levels are appropriate

Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance and light repairs

Maintain system of daily pool, cleaning, and maintenance logs

Operate various cleaning and mechanical equipment

Perform light custodial including event set-ups, general cleaning, empty garbage, sweep, mop, and scrub floors

Prioritize guest and staff safety, including maintaining OSHA and MDH safety standards

Attend pre-season training workshops

Assist guests with needs

Work special events as assigned

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

What is needed to apply for this job?

18 years of age or older

Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds

Climb a ladder, operate small hand tools, and go into pools

Things that may help you be successful in this role

Although not required, if you have experience in the following you may be a great fit:

Experience with pool water testing and operating pool maintenance equipment

Knowledge of mechanical equipment and repairs

Facility or custodial experience
