Job Description
Join a leading wire and steel fabrication company as an Electrical-Mechanical Maintenance Technician on our weekend shift. Contribute to maintaining and enhancing production efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Maintain, repair, install, and troubleshoot production machines.
Follow and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Install and maintain complete production lines.
Research new trends and technologies to improve processes.
Complete preventative maintenance in a timely manner.
Assist with improvements of production equipment and controls to increase productivity.
Interface with all levels of personnel to implement improvements and reduce downtime.
Follow all company guidelines, policies, and procedures.Essential Skills
Five years of experience in Industrial Manufacturing Maintenance or three-year technical schooling.
Proficiency in electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair.
Experience in troubleshooting PLC programs such as Siemens, S5, S7, ABB, Bosch.
Understanding of control wiring and logic diagrams.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, and stoop as required.
Capable of working overtime as assigned.
Proficient in PLC and HMI troubleshooting.
Experience in servo systems programming (electrical and hydraulic).
Knowledge of AC and DC drive setup, programming, and troubleshooting.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Welding and fabricating experience.
PLC programming skills, including setting timers and checking inputs and outputs.
CNC or robotic maintenance experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.

Work Environment
Work in a large manufacturing facility with over 300 employees, equipped with robotic welders, ovens, wire-mesh fencing machines, and paint lines. The facility is non-climate controlled, operating multiple shifts: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd shift (8 hours) from Monday to Friday, and 1st & 3rd weekend shift from Friday to Sunday (7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
