Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Location: Billerica, MA

Shift: 1st shift

Pay: $19 to $23 per hour - depending on experience

Position Summary

Adecco is working with a leading precision manufacturer in Billerica, MA! We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met. Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC mills and/or lathes according to work instructions and blueprints

Load raw materials and unload finished parts

Perform tool changes and minor machine adjustments as needed

Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools

Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining

Maintain accurate production and quality documentation

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Communicate effectively with supervisors, programmers, and team members

Qualifications

Previous CNC machine operating experience preferred

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions

Familiarity with measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

Basic understanding of G-code is a plus

Strong attention to detail and quality standards

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Skills

Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment

Knowledge of different materials (aluminum, steel, stainless, plastics)

Experience working with tight tolerances

Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour
