The Opportunity
The Development Associate / Development Project Manager will be responsible for assisting the team with new project development, acquisition, and financing. As a critical member of the Development team, you will gain experience in all aspects of the development process and have direct interaction with company executives. The role will be expected to assist in simultaneously assembling and managing an external team of financiers, architects, designers, engineers and contractors. The position demands strong financial skills, creative thinking, leadership, and effective communication.
Scope of Responsibility
Full-cycle involvement in affordable and supportive housing development projects
Projects will be in a variety of states and geographic markets throughout the U.S.
Financial feasibility analysis and underwriting of new development and acquisition opportunities
Preparation of financing equity packages and applications
Coordination and completion of due diligence items for lenders and investors
Assist in the preparation of tax credit applications
Investment committee presentation preparation and support
Assist in entitlement process for new developments
Assist in construction management and design process
Ability to meet deadlines
