Structural Welder

Job Title: Structural Welder

Location: Moline, IL

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $22-$25 per hour DOE

Key Responsibilities:

Weld, cut, and fabricate metal structures and components based on blueprints and specifications.

Work with a variety of metals, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, using different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).

Inspect materials and finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards and safety regulations.

Read and interpret detailed technical drawings and schematics.

Perform welding tasks in various environments, such as construction sites or workshops.

Ensure all work is completed according to safety guidelines and company procedures.

Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to meet project deadlines. Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience as a Structural Welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) preferred.

Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme weather conditions if necessary.

Strong safety awareness and the ability to follow strict safety protocols.
