Role: Sr. Automation QA Analyst
Location: Remote but have to be based out of East Coast (Preferably in Princeton NJ / Washington DC)
Duration: Fulltime only (No H1B)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our Products team as a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to play a key role in delivering quality technology. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hard-working, and adaptable. They will thrive in a face-paced agile scrum team. They will communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to both technical and nontechnical audiences. They will have an in-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices and will act as a lead in implementing those practices. They will have strong technical experience in test automation as part of CI/CD.
Responsibilities:
Work with cross-functional team to ensure quality of delivered product
Understand and provide constructive feedback on user stories
Write technical documentation, including test strategy/test plan, test scenarios & test cases
Execute tests (manual or automated) and present the results
Collect, and report on QA-related metrics
Certify product for release
Compiling release notes
Build automated tests in frameworks like Selenium, Cypress
Implement test automation into CICD pipeline
Lead teammates in QA best practices Requirements:
5+ years' experience in QA
Master's degree in Computer Science, or similar degree, or equivalent experience and skills
Experience with iterative development process
Experience coding in automated testing frameworks
Experience working in a cross-functional (dev & QA) team
Experience with UI (User Interface) testing tools like Selenium and Cypress
Experience with API (Application Programming Interface) testing tools like Postman
Coding experience with modern languages like Python or JavaScript
Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services), including navigating services via AWS Console
Experience testing distributed and cloud-based web applications
Proficiency in modern technologies such as Angular, Node.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, git, MongoDB, MySQL
