Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Remote Bookkeeping Assistant & Data Entry Clerk to support our finance and administrative teams. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and performing high-volume data entry tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately input, update, and maintain financial and administrative data in company systems
* Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
* Record daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts
* Maintain organized digital records of invoices, receipts, and financial documents
* Verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies
* Generate basic financial reports as needed
* Support bookkeeping and administrative tasks as assigned
* Ensure confidentiality of sensitive financial information
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
* Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or data entry
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Strong communication skills
Preferred Skills:
* Familiarity with basic accounting principles
* Experience working in a remote environment
* Typing speed of 50+ WPM with high accuracy
