As a server, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction by providing attentive and friendly service.
Location: Abingdon, MD / Comp $3.63+tips
Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables.
Present menus and answer any questions regarding menu items.
Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests.
Enter orders into the POS system and ensure they are relayed to the kitchen or bar promptly.
Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
Anticipate guests' needs and fulfill them proactively.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations.
Process payments accurately and efficiently.
Clean and set up dining areas before, during, and after service.
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
Upsell menu items and promote specials.
Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned. Requirements:
2 years previous experience in a similar role required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Strong attention to detail.
Positive "can do" attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
Food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one. Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 25 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
