Job Title: Linux Platform Engineer Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Linux Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated IT infrastructure solutions in a mission-focused environment. This role combines hands-on systems engineering with modern automation and AI-driven capabilities to improve infrastructure scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems, infrastructure automation, and platform engineering, with the ability to develop and integrate tools that support enterprise services and large-scale environments. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation solutions integrating enterprise and custom services

• Develop and support Python-based tools and code for infrastructure integration and automation

• Build and maintain monitoring, metrics, and reporting systems that provide actionable operational insight

• Implement and integrate AI-driven enhancements to IT infrastructure, including support for MCP or similar frameworks

• Support continuous improvement of platform reliability, scalability, and performance

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure capabilities into broader system architectures Required Skills:

• Strong Python development and scripting experience

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)

• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Knowledge of enterprise services, including Active Directory, LDAP, and related identity systems

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, or similar)

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently in technical environments Desired Experience:

• Background in Linux system administration

• Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, or similar)

• Understanding of networking, storage systems, and backup solutions

• Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, or similar)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
