Draftsman

JOB TITLE: DRAFTSMAN

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Design

3+ years of drafting experience in oil & gas or construction

Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar tools

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Detail-oriented with good communication skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other drafting software

Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and technical drawings to produce accurate drafts

Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements

Revise and update drawings based on design changes or site feedback

Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and client specifications

Maintain drawing registers and documentation for project records

Assist in preparing as-built drawings upon project completion

KEY COMPETENCIES:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other drafting tools

Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications

Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting

Good communication and coordination skills

Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks
