After Hours Custodian

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM up to 10:00 PM

About the Role

Genesis Housings is looking for a dependable and detail oriented Evening Janitorial team member to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility. This role is essential to ensuring our students, staff, and guests enjoy a healthy environment every day.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, and shared areas

Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors

Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment

Restock paper products, soap, and other supplies

Perform basic floor care (experience preferred)

Report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor

Lock and secure the building after shift completion

Complete additional cleaning tasks as assigned

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required. A minimum of one (1) year of related experience in a similar service related position preferred but not required.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret safety rules and chemical labels.
